Lawrence A. Russell (Larry) is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas (1976) and before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. He has been Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2001. Larry regularly drafts wills, trusts, and disability planning documents, and helps clients with all aspects of trust and estate administration, as well as guardianships. He has represented hundreds of families in probate proceedings (large and small), primarily in Travis and Williamson Counties. Larry has also been involved on the Boards of Directors for several nonprofit organizations and currently serves on various leadership groups at Bethany Methodist Church.
Larry graduated cum laude from Southwestern University in 1973 and from the University of Texas School of Law in 1975. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Williamson County Bar Association (President, 1999). Formerly, Larry worked as an Assistant Counsel for the Government Operations Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives (1976-1978) and was an Assistant District Attorney for Travis County from 1982-1987. When not in the office, Larry enjoys gardening, reading, and singing in his church choir at Bethany Methodist Church. Larry and his wife, Kathy, have two married adult children and four grandsons.
